Lego Mac
One of my stories got Slashdotted again. Nice Italian man Daniele Procida - an Apple consultant re-furbished an old Powerbook 5300 using Lego. But he’s had enough of the striking little creation and is flogging it on eBay.
Looks like Dan and his little Mac are overwhelmed by the combined attention of being Slashdotted and covered by BBC News. The highest bid has shot up since I wrote the story and, whilst he’s not in it for the money, it will be ample reward for putting the time into creating such a lovely curiosity.
Update: The little blighter has also appeared on Melbourne’s Talk 1116 Radio 3AK and south Wales’ RealRadio - his hit count is skyrocketing in tandem with his eBay worth.
