Taking a cue from bulletin boards and more which let users on the same page - in the same space at the same time, sharing a common goal - talk to each other, BBCi launches the Connector (possibly long before I just discovered it, you never know).
This IM-like popup window gives each person an avatar in a semi-circular page space which changes to reflect the page population each time the user clicks away.
