More exposure for spray-on mud story
Acorns grow to mighty trees, but only if you spray mud on them. My June 10 Wired News story Spray-on Mud Makes a Splash has ballooned globally in the last couple of weeks.
I had already pointed out that, since the story broke, versions of the piece had inspired stories for a Guardian front page, a Daily Mail page lead, a BBC News online story, in the Evening Standard, The Scotsman, the The Independent and the New Zealand Herald, as well as being blogged on BoingBoing and other weblogs.
Now a visit to the news page on the maker’s website shows the coverage has been gathering pace. It says:-
Sprayonmud has been featured on TV & Radio worldwide: “What’s the Problem” - Anne Robinson, Sky News, Central TV News, Richard & Judy Show, and radio shows in UK, Australia, NZ, Spain, US, Canada, Germany.
It adds to the press coverage list:-

Colin Dowse told NPR that the sprayonmud.com website had recently received over 100,000 hits by last week - he said the product was flying off the shelves and that he was opening up distributorships in the US and Canada. Interesting to see this grow…
