Cream of bloggers rise to the top
Celebrated blogger and writer Andrew Sullivan is moving his blog into Time.com, website of Time magazine, for whom he has also written.
Hot on the heels of Nick Denton’s blog empire Gawker striking a content distribution deal with Yahoo!, AOL’s outright scooping up of Jason Calacanis’ really-very-good-at-this-point Weblogs Inc. blogs network and a host of other trends (see: Huffington Post and associated Yahoo! distribution platform), it’s clear that the cream of the blogosphere is rising to the top.
That is, where “the top” is the mass media, or the large digital media portals that have a large, large audience.
