I’m going to Le Web 3 conference

Having been unable to get over there for Les Blogs 2.0 last year, I’m pleased to say I am going to be present at this year’s Le Web 3 conference in Paris on December 11 (Monday) and 12 (Tuesday).

This may be version three of the online publishing and media conference hosted by Loic Lemeur, who runs blog software maker Six Apart in Europe - but the programme suggests it’s the number two (Web 2.0) which will dominate proceedings.

There’s no better place to hold such an event. Forrester this week published research showing blogging is bigger in France than anywhere in Europe. I reported similar back in April 2005 in the Wired News story Vive Les Blogs!.

Should be fun.

I’ll be flying in on the Sunday so, if anyone fancies hooking up over a merlot, do drop me a line.
